P8: APRA Internal Administration & Finance

P7- Our APRA Internal Admin & Finance supplies the financial resources for us to be able to do much of what we are mandated. Long past are they days where we can depend mostly on volunteers and pro-bono services. Thus our need for ongoing funding subscriptions from residents who understand the importance of what we do.  

We strive to use our resources effectively. In doing so we budget accordingly and continue to do fund raising and actively get more subscribers. The more members we have the better we can make Auckland Park for all. Budgets are in place to ensure we have the ongoing work from our major team at CityWise and then local volunteering makes a big difference to our community, not only seeing what contributions / donations are going to but also being a part of the community with meeting our ExCo members and ward councillor as well as upper management members of our Urban Management teams.

In 2024 we hope to get our PBO status so that all donations to APRA will be tax deductible thus all households donating will receive tax certificates.
